Here at NBC we believe that babies, kids and young people are an important part of our church family, to be seen and heard! We also love arranging activities and external outings for them, and regularly connect with other churches to put on BIG events!
We also have a dedicated Youth Worker, Tom (pictured above/right), who oversees the all the fun our young people get up to and is contactable through the form below if you have any questions!
NBC Youth
On Sunday mornings our young people (11-18) gather together as part of the morning service for their own group when the sermon takes place in the main church. The group hopes to root our young people in the bible, help them to focus on God’s direction for their lives, aid them in telling others about how much Jesus loves them and provide a space to discuss the big topics of life. This is supported by our youth group that you can read more about below…
Switch Youth Group
On Sunday evenings from 6-8pm our youth group, Switch meets. It is for 11-18s and provides a place to hang out, play games, meet new people, eat food, and get to know God! We’re a friendly bunch (see below), but we can be a bit loud the first time you see us! Come along and bring your friends for a fantastic start to the week!
Wednesday Football
On Wednesday evenings, usually around 9pm, many of our young people (aged 14+) join up with students and others from our church to play football. Contact Louie Bester-Hatch or Tom Watts for more details.
Uniformed Groups
We also host the 79th Clayton Scout group, along with Rainbows, Brownies and Guides groups.
