Hey there! If you want to find out more about our work with children, you’ve come to the right place!
Here at NBC, we believe that babies, children and young people are an important part of our church family and deserve to be seen and heard! We love organising activities and outings, as well as connecting with other churches to put on BIG events!
We have a dedicated Youth Worker, Tom (pictured above/right), who oversees our work with young people, supported by our part-time Children’s Worker, Kim. If you have any questions, Tom would love to hear from you! You can get in touch using the contact form below.
What does a Sunday morning look like?
During our regular services, children and young people leave partway through to join their own groups.
⭐ Little Stars (ages 0–5) – For our youngest children, Little Stars combines Bible stories with plenty of play!
📖 NBC Kids (up to Year 6) – Our primary-aged children enjoy fun and discovery as they explore the Bible together. We’re currently using the What’s in the Bible? curriculum, which you can learn more about here.
🙌 NBC Youth (Years 7–13) – Our youth group creates space for young people to explore the big questions of life, rooted in the Bible. Find out more about our work with 11-18s on our youth page here.
🎉 All-Together Sundays – On the first Sunday of each month, we gather as one church family, from the youngest to the oldest! We start at 10:15am with drinks and doughnuts, followed by our celebration service at around 10:45am.

NBC Kids Online
From September 2020 to August 2021, we produced weekly videos called ‘NBC Kids Online’ while restrictions limited how we could gather as a church. These sessions were designed for the whole family to enjoy together.
Every session is available to watch on demand through the links below, so why not check them out if you missed them when they were first released? We also produced a series of bedtime stories, which you can find out more about below.

NBC Bedtime Stories
In June 2020, it became clear that we wouldn’t be able to gather as a church as we would have liked for some time. We knew we needed to find new ways to reach out to children, both within our church family and beyond, so we began publishing a series of Bedtime Stories on our YouTube and Facebook pages. These stories take us on a journey through some of the amazing moments in the Bible, and they’re still available to watch on YouTube today!
