Hey there! If you want to know more about our work with children and young people then you've come to the right page!
Here at NBC we believe that babies, kids and young people are an important part of our church family, to be seen and heard! We also love arranging activities and external outings for them, and regularly connect with other churches to put on BIG events!
We also have a dedicated Youth Worker, Tom, who oversees the all the fun our young people get up to and is contactable through the form below if you have any questions!
During our normal services the kids will leave after about 25 minutes to go to their own groups. About once every two months, and more often during the school summer
olidays, our morning services are All Age services.
For 0-5s there is Little Stars, where the emphasis is on learning Bible stories and play
For Primary aged kids (up to Y6) we have Soul Patrol, with an emphasis on fun discovery about the Bible, currently using the "What's in the Bible?" curriculum
For Y7-Y11 we have a group called Reverence, with more of an emphasis on discussion.
Switch Youth Group
On Sunday evenings from 6-8pm (around the evening service) our youth group, Switch meets. It is for 11-18s and provides a place to hang out, play games, meet new people, eat food, get messy and get to know God! We're a friendly bunch (see right), but we can be a bit loud the first time you see us! Come along and bring your friends for a fantastic start to the week!
On Wednesday evenings, usually around 9pm, many of our young people (aged 14+) join up with students and older people to play football. Contact Simon Bennett or Tom Watts for more details.
We also host the 79th Clayton Scout group, along with Rainbows and Brownies groups.
